Anh Thy Hoang
Born in Saigon, Vietnam and raised in Anaheim, Anh Thy Hoang’s paintings are an investigation of the relationship between self image, substances, and dissociation. She is especially drawn to patterns and sleep as a metaphor for dissociation as she attempts to mediate the therapeutic potential of repetition with the sinister implications of living cyclically. Currently, Anh Thy serves phở in Fullerton and paints in between.
