Biography

Ann Chau is a second-generation Vietnamese-American who lives with her husband, fun-loving toddler, and newborn son. She wants to share her passion for the Vietnamese language and culture with her children and future generations with her first self-published book, My Ông Ngoại’s Garden.
As a lifelong learner and advocate for higher education, Ann holds a BA in Asian American Studies from UCLA and a Master’s in Public Administration from CSULB. She is currently an Associate Director of Stewardship and Development Operations at the USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism. She is also deeply committed to promoting Asian American Studies and making a difference in her community. Ann also enjoys exploring the great outdoors through gardening, hiking, and camping with her family in her spare time.

My Ông Ngoại’s Garden book is written in English and features both English and Vietnamese translations of fruits. It is also accompanied by brightly colored images to spark children’s interest. This book is perfect for ages 2-5 and even adults!
